The Glacier Lily is a beautiful perennial wildflower. The stem may rise to about 35 cm in height. They are 10 to 20 cm long.

They have one to three flowers which are turned downwards in bloom with six petals. The flowers are a cream to pale yellow or golden in color, often with a greenish tint near the base on the outer surface. The 6 stamens have flattened filaments which become broader as you go down.

A glacier lily will most likely be found in moist springtime meadows, often among sagebrush, Ponderosa Pine, or under Oregon White Oak. This plant typically stays around until mid to late spring.
